A former resident of Dominica sent us this photo while on a trip to St. Maarten.
Apparently, a mother was frustrated with the lack of child support and took action in her own hands by spraying graffiti on her child’s father’s car.
Photographers – novice, amateur or professional – in Dominica are asked to submit photos, photographer credit and caption to [email protected] for consideration for the Photo of the Day feature, daily on dominicanewsonline.com or news.dm.
Submissions can be accompanied by a brief profile and contact information of the photographer. Submissions will be published in the order they were received.
Photos must be taken of Dominicans and things Dominican. Note that submissions advertising any form of business or business activity will not be published.
Dominica News Online also encourages the submission of a variety of photos, ranging from nature shots, people shots, weird shots, interesting human interest shots, and anything ‘newsy’.

It seems things real rough, to have to use patched up doors and everything…Is not like is is rolling in dough.
And yes, I do believe that some women use child support as a way to oppress these men…At the same time, there are some good for nothing fathers, who live life like they ‘aint got no kids’ and all these single mothers are frustrated trying to raise these kids all by their ‘numero uno’. And that just ‘aint right’
some women are just wicked. Yes d man supporting d child where is the mother contribution? they asking for extra money to go saloon and put HIB and false nails. they like to depend on father alone to give the child…………… stupess
conclusion if it is so expensive to maintain a child with all the extra trimmings then i would advise the young women to keep your legs closed to avoid all that stress and embarraassment ,live child free for a while till u r independent enough to have children and upkeep them properly bottom line
Hey I think that that woman has no respect for herself. She just give the man more value by doing that. That act would not make the man take care of a child. She should do all she can to educate that child and let that child be a weapon against that man. Or MAYBE she had that child in order to keep the man but she loose all for all MAYBE it is not even mister own but he was giving her money before now he stop. LOL
well well this is no way to solve the problem,, cannot solve this issue by taking the law into y hand i beleive u should suffer the consequences for y action. speaking from a lady point of view, just being partial too many time we take matters into our own hands; that why there are courts and we are governed by laws of the land.. Let us try to preach peace the world can be a nice place to live if we all try to get along and settle our differences, the situation could have differently.

Some woman too wicked because After you and them Finnish and you have another woman they put all kinds of unnecessary pressure on you. Even taking you to court even though you support your child so this can make a man fed-up and do things. Even the court do not listen to what men have to say, Since it is quipped with a feminist Magistrate.
My child mother took me to court because her mother and other relatives told her to, i had all evidence of my child support and you know what it was only to embarrass me cause when i tried to find out the reason for going to court the magistrate told me that most likely she did not want to run after me for money so it will have to be placed in the court. Not giving any consideration for the child. It is not only about the money. What we need is a family court cause things do not work right in this system.

This is a situation where “”desperate times calls for desperate measures. I hope this develops some positive results for her, or the child rather.

I would not have enough balls to do what that woman did….but if “Rudy” slept with with the woman at least once and soon after she found out she was pregnant, then he may well be responsible for the child. He has no balls if he is a father that does not support his child/children. In fact, if he does not support his child, he is not a Father he is a sperm donor.

I feel bad for the child or children they have two lawless parents. Ignorance of the law is no excuse to take matter into your own hands in this case literally. Let the law deal with dead beat dads. There is more to this story of course, maybe the guy took home another woman, so when they awake in the morning she can see she slept with a dead beat. Will this act of vandalism solve the problem? A resounding NO! This woman needs help too. If you ask me, I find her actions immature, and provocative. Not excusing the guy, but there is always a BETTER way to resolve these issues than resorting to childish pranks. You have children to rise lady GROW UP ALREADY!
I am not saying the mother was right in what she did. But really, when the court awards $75 per month for child support, how much can you do with that?
A pediatrician’s visit is $100.00. A tin of NIDO is about $50.000…….do the maths.
Personally, if the father’s (and sometimes mothers too) do not want to support the kids, just forget about them and move on. Do what you can, the kids grow up quickly.

D woman maybe got fed up n tired of askin n not getting a response. What she did was wrong but as a man he should step up and look after his responsibilities. The law is the laaw she should let the police do that for her hope she does not get charged for this cause she got kids to look after. But lets take into consideration that he went to St.Marteen for vacation so he got money he jus doh want give her to look after his children. If i wuz him i wld not even post dat.
