Photographers – novice, amateur or professional – in Dominica are asked to submit photos, photographer credit and caption to [email protected] for consideration for the Photo of the Day feature, daily on dominicanewsonline.com or news.dm.

Submissions can be accompanied by a brief profile and contact information of the photographer. Submissions will be published in the order they were received.

Photos must be taken of Dominicans and things Dominican. Note that submissions advertising any form of business or business activity will not be published.

Dominica News Online also encourages the submission of a variety of photos, ranging from nature shots, people shots, weird shots, interesting human interest shots, and anything ‘newsy

    the stadium is beautiful why do u all have to stretch on who build it yet u all all over roseau buying thier stuff in stores, anyways my only advised to goverment is that with the sea blast u can see a lot of rust when u drive on the new road dont remember the name of that road cause i only saw it wen i was there in december, which i might add is very beautiful, i love my dominica, just do some maintenance and keep it beautiful

    The moment I saw this pic on the main page with 3 comments I said to myself “I bet there’s at least one political comment in there” and guess what, I was right.

    @TINY – you say the Chinese should have built a stadium with a retractable roof? Do you just talk for the purpose of just talking? How would that work when playing cricket and a batsman hits one way up in the air?

    It is mind-boggling how some people think in this country – they just HAVE to say something negative about something “their people” dis not initiate. I am independent, but surely not everything this government has done is to the detriment of Dominica. Comeon man, give it a rest.

    Abraham Lincoln was quoted as saying: “Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.”….some people need to heed that advice – desperately
