dominican allu need to shut the heck up if allu dont have anything positve to say, it doesnt matter whether the people’s eyes are red or the pic is not a full bodied one. at least Marlon tried ..if u dont like the pic then why dont u go take abetter one? But no, you just wana sit on your lazy backside and just give negative criticism…(“its a nonsense photo,” “it’s stupid.”) stuuuuuuuuuuuupes people GET A DAMN LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!! good job Marlon Alexander and dont let people’s negativity hold u back

Allu wonder why Dominica is so backward? It is because every time someone suggests arer for improvement, idiots like some of you talk about jealousy. Jealous of what? A picture?

I am very happy when someone points me in the right direction. It means I learn and do better the next time around. I dont take it as a personal slight. Typical Dominican behaviour.

If you go to the market and you complain about the price or the quality of the produce, instead of handling the complaint, they ready to jump down your throat. It’s like how dare you say anything.

Our people are unbelievable in their ignorance.

lol so a man take a pic with his camera that use a technique to take multiple shots and stick them together to make a panoramic view and people make a big deal about photo editing. Now people coming and talk about use photo editing software to remove red eye. u really cannot please dominicans. most of those negative comments are from people who are just jealous that the photo thats there is not theirs or not of them. dominicans does grudge people too much!
nice photo btw considering that is was taken by one of the people in the picture

@gaynpround: Gaynproud, you are so freaking negative! Everytime I read through comments on any given subject, I have NEVER once heard you say something positive…do you feel that you have something to PROVE by being gay??? Keep your retarded, ignorant and bashing comments to yourself. You just sound like a miserable person to be around and I can’t imagine you having any friends. If this is the kinda trash that comes from your mouth when you speak, then I even feel sorry for you

I think those who feel it is such a bad picture should themselves try a shot one day rather than
sit and criticise those who make an effort. Mason don’t let those “dummies” deter you. Keep improving yourself and next time make a short clip of the best BELLEH dancers in Dominica.
    Well said JAH SON.

stick a sock in it ,if the young man was arrested for smoking ganja and the girl for peddling coke
it would be a neg talk about the youth. now they took a photo, its posted on D.N.O ,some people still have a problem. Is it jelousy or wickedness.or badly trained potty boys always complaining?

photo of the day?you people gotz to be kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is nothing wrong with the photo. DNO clearly states that photos of DOMINICANS AND DOMINICAN THINGS can be submitted…no other special requirements. A photo doesn’t have to be professionally done or to everyone’s personal taste to be beautiful. Photos capture moments in time and these two young persons were sharing a beautiful moment. To those commenting on the red-eye…leave it alone…that’s what the moment captured. At that moment, they did not have special editing software. So it’s not a full body shot…BIG DEAL!!! Focus on the pleasant look in their eyes or how happy and at peace they seem. Stop being so negative. They were kind enough to share their photo with us. This is their moment … it’s their photo…and I love it!

    Great picture,

You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.

    Stop all the negative comments,

Marlon and others who shoot pictures. Bofore you post it, take a closer look at see where you can improve on it. For example, there are many photo editing software that you can employ to remove the red eyes on the couple. Simple things like this can do wonders for a picture.

@.: Sometimes I wonder if we as a people really reflect of think before we utter certain crap… Your distain for the picture does not make it stupid. Its high time we begin to consider how powerful words can be, both negatively and positively. A more appropriate comment would be something to the extent that, if this picture was a full shot, rather than a head shot it would have been better because it would capture the beauty of the national wear… However, to call the picture stupid is not necessary and does not offer any help to the photographer… Its about time we begin to help each other and not bring them down unnecessarily…
