In time, below the waterfall, a basin of water will be constructed, if it does not already have one.
I am hoping that when next in 2012 I visit DA I will go to those places. I want to see as many places as I possibly could on this next visit, God willing.
Dominica is too beautiful not to be enjoyed.
A few years ago a dear non-Dominican friend told me, “your body left Dominica but your heart did not leave.” People observe that. Thanks to DNO I am able to also vigorously renew that DA spirit.
    God bless!

here is a fact,in a lot countries where all this natural wonders of nature exist,a good percentage of the local populace do not even know where these places are,a lot people do not take some time of to give them self’s and their family a little treat or a little exploration,in fact to some people rather go to other countries for a vacation, enjoy your island to,sleep in a hotel to,play tourist to,take hikes,go to them lakes,aa zoh ce moun to,one love :-D

You are so correct! Life is short and they should do all those things. Furthermore, it decreases anxiety, stress and tensions. Some people do not know how to live. Of course, there are those who may not be able to afford it.
In Dominica, they could go to the beach, river, lakes and waterfall. This would surely be a refreshing trip and outing.
I recall those days when we would organize picnics for Sundays and holidays. After attending Holy Mass we would go on those picnics.
I recall Boxing Day, Easter Monday, Pentecost Monday. These were considered picnic days as well.
Do Dominicans still go on picnics on those days? The thought just ran across my mind, or did TV and computer, cell phones, texting, etc. take over? They must learn to restore those fun days. Granted they cannot return but they can be renewed.
The saying, “We can’t turn back the clock but we can wind it up again.” How true!

Sometimes it’s best to just shut that hole in your face, Tiny. Always got a negative comment to make. Just keep quiet! Geez. If that’s how your female body part looks you need surgery. Just saying.

Elton you take excellent pictures of those areas. Thank you! Thank you DNO for posting them as this one. They are worth sharing.
It is a beautiful picture and waterfall! A great secret hideaway for picnics. Now Dominicans and visitors will know and visit there. Since it is secluded, for safety reasons when you do, travel in a group.
There are some places in Dominica which are still to be discovered. Please ensure that this one is on the list of places to visit.
I have been to Glo Chaud. Is there another one?

      @ tiny

I wished that you did not make such an unbecoming and uncomplimentary statement about the picture. The picture is beautiful and even more beautiful since it was taken on a sunny and bright day. Note too the greeneries with the water flowing downwards. The flowing water makes it a waterfall. I can visualize when it rains the water will be more plentiful.
Have you heard that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder?
On one of my visits to DA I had bought some postcards which I placed in an album. I am always proud to show them off to others, Dominicans and non-Dominicans alike. When I viewed them, I noticed that one of them looks like a vision of a woman in a white gown and the other I assumed to be a vision of two man-size hands, to the wrist, opened wide with the water flowing into them and out of them. I have previously stated this on DNO.
Figure out who they could be. The woman and the hands of a man opened wide. I gave you a clue, a spiritual supernatural one so that you do not have to rack your brains.
I consider Dominica blest by God. It is too bad if you do not see the beauty in this picture and your (our) DA’s sceneries. You may need glasses or may need to awake from your slumber. Tiny one, if you are, was it too early for you when you viewed the picture?

An ugly female body part!! Are you kidding? Are you a woman? Are you proud of God’s creation? You’ve been bashing Humanist and you do not have an appreciation for God’s creation – both human and the natural environment.

Great job Elton. You are all over the map.
