My first thought was, this tree looks like an almond tree. Once when I had visited Dominica and went on a picnic at Macoucherie (hope I spelt this correctly), someone took a picture of me near to an almond tree on the beach. I held a branch of the tree when the picture was being taken. This picture is in my album. Would this be the same spot or a similar one?
I love the manner in which the branches meet. If they were stronger they could make a good swing.
