This picture was definitely taken from Tete Tete Morne. Brings back memories of when we had to go to Soufriere or Scotts Head to get fish, or on some occasions to play cricket or rounders etc with the Soufriere Govt School. WOW!!!!

Am from Tete Morne and as a boy we often walked that track between the two villages. There’s a road that jeeps drove on during earlier days.they need to open that road.

Read more so we can be knowledgeable. Not just look at pics but read and you will not miss out anything! Encourage the little ones to read the News not just look at the pics alone. Then we would not have missed the headline –

“PHOTO OF THE DAY: View of Soufriere from Segment two of the Waitikubuli National Trail”

Nice photo Gershom! Keep it up and keep the photos coming>

Excellent view of my village. Now Wow I know I will leave to drive on this road when The Soufriere / Tete Morne Highway will be cut. A tourist attraction and will include the view of the Sulpher catchements.

Cerberus can not wait either. This is the road promised to us before his untimely demise. Imagine what it would mean to the revival of impoverished Montine and the nearly moribund Tete Morne? it would be s spectacular drive, easily doable from Roseau and also provide a welcome alternative access for Soufriere and Scotts Head.

This picture brings back a lot of memories.
I can clearly see the cricket ground next to the Soufiere school where I played cricket. I also remember going to Tet Tete Morne to enjoy the sunset beaming down on Soufiere.

“Soufiere Road,” well known for a variety of the sweetest mangoes in Dominica.

    Great Photo!!

    Admin,
for the one millionth time, please provide the name or location for these wonderfull pics that you are posting. They seem incomplete without that info. If the photos are submitted without a name you should request one before posting. Thanks you.

      @ Ron

Who said there is no name? Did you not read it above the picture? Patience in reading! Take your time to read.
You are too bold. Are you blind or what? There you go admonishing DNO when the name is clearly posted and in block (big) letters.

      June 24, 2011

If you read The title on the top of the page it indicates the location. It reads “PHOTO OF THE DAY:View of Soufriere from Segment two of the Waitikubuli National Trail”

      * Just want to make a point…you guys don’t like to read, you only look at what’s important or fascinates you.

People read everything and not what you want!

Maybe you did not read the headline of the article. It seems to me you saw the picture and just open it, then ask this foolish question. READ THE HEADLINE of the article then you will know where this is.
