This Jacka will never mention the thousands of people living in $250,000 $300,000 and $400,000 houses and apartments given to them FREE by Skerrit. They are the thousands who keep voting DLP over and over again. The homeless or street people in Dominica choose to be homeless.Unlike the USA where people are forced into poverty or homelessness.
That should not be lauded. One, the economy should be firing on all cylinders that most people should be in sound financial health to build their own homes and not rely on government so heavily for shelter.
Two, the occupants of the defective apartment have no documents of ownership. They are therefore a dispossessed and can be kicked out at any time. This is nothing to crow about.
Lazy Lin, your comment shows that your brain is deeply buried in mud.
So y de P.M cannot dema d that clear harbour send their workers home during the safe period rather than when the storm reaches
Are some Dominicans still living under tarpaulin roofs since the passage of Hurricane Maria, 2017? Yes, there are!
While many Dominicans live under these precarious conditions, the homeless population mushrooming, the streets are their only place of abode, Roosevelt and his trophy wife and children live unperturbed in a multi-million dollar fortress paid for by destitute tax payers every month.
Many will have to seek shelter away from their dry weather houses. The roofs of their houses will leak like a shower head. My heart bleeds for these victims of desperate circumstances. May the good Lord shield them from the inclement weather that is just about to befall them.
Imagine ports and airports are told to close at 12 pm around 12:45 pm… π π π.. who heard this .. a briefing after the closing time.. π π π
This is typical of this fouled-up, asinine , crackhead government. Just look at the landscape of the country and the general standard of living of the people.
Corruption, lies, greed, incompetence, blind political partisanship, starvation wages and salaries, thievery, apathy, laziness, cowardice, jealousy, all these have contributed significantly to the sordid and destitute state of affairs in Dominica.
More political garbage. I do not think you care or give a hoot about these people. You are just saying that just to annoy Skerrit and his Ministers, as if.
I did not know a man with two bogus degrees like you possesses the ability to read people’s minds.
Since you are so gifted does Roosevelt want genuine electoral reform? Is Melissa truly concerned about the best interest of her impecunious constituents?
