Jungle Bay Dominica is pleased to introduce Mr. Claude Weekes as Head of Physical Property and Security.
Mr. Weekes has served the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force for over 40 years, attaining the rank of Assistant Superintendent prior to his retirement in August 2023. Mr. Weekes will commence his journey with Jungle Bay by meeting with residents and officials of surrounding village as part of the public relations and community liaison team to enhance the relationship between Jungle Bay and it’s surrounding communities.
Mr. Sam Raphael, Jungle Bay’s Managing Director stated “I am pleased that we are able to add someone with Claude’s capabilities and positive attitude to our management team. I have personally admired his dynamic personality and competence over the years and now we will be able to utilize his numerous skills and competences to the benefit of our company as well as the benefit of the entire Dominica’s tourism industry”.
Given his phenomenal experience, knowledge, exuberance, versatility, spirituality, and charisma, Mr. Weekes will be an asset to Jungle Bay bringing added value to the company, its guests, staff, and country as a whole.
Sometimes I ask myself if this ole police is really and ole police.Claude Weeks is a personal and very close friend,I am happy for him.Claude Weeks met the police force as sweet as honey.They destroyed it.When the CLOWN and others were driving the dreads back to civilization Weeks was not there.When the Clown and others were keeping the peace in Dominica in 1999 Weeks was not there.When the Clown and others were patrolling Dominica after a former Prime Minister and two others were arrested during operation RED DOG Weeks was not there.When the Clown and others went to Grenada in 1983 as members of the CPF(Caribbean Peace-Keeping Force)Weeks was not there.When the Clown and others were trained by the Jamaican soldiers in jungle survival Weeks was not there.When the Clown and others were trained by the 7th Special Forces Groupe 82nd Airborne from Fort Bragg North Carolina in 1984 Weeks was not there.When the Clown and others slept in the bush for days Weeks was not there.Sweet Dominica.
Thanks for your service Lin Clown except for one thing you were and appears to have always been a follower; never acquired any leadership skills like comrade Claude Weeks, which is evident from you constant support of BS by this clueless administration.
This is a great position for someone of Mr. Weeks’ experience and professionalism. however, it saddens me that after many years of duty, it is evident that retirees still need to keep working. ITs one thing if you refuse to “stop working” and keep yourself busy. Its another thing if you have to work to make ends meet.
All I can say there is a time when a man, including Donald too, has to call it a day, go home and lay around, play with the grandkids and wifie.
After retirement in Dominica, most people about (97-99%) are still dead broke..They have to find something to do, else they wont survive.

Congratulations my brother at least Sam and Jungle Bay had the foresight and fortitude to see what this inefficient, dysfunctional administration didn’t see in you; your leadership skills are what the CDPF needs at this time sad but true.
