An 18-year-old male has died as a result of a vehicular road traffic collision which occurred in the Pottersville area shortly after midnight on Friday, March 29.
According to reports from police sources, the young man was riding a scooter, along with a 14-year-old when they collided with a black Honda CRV.
The 14-year-old is currently receiving treatment for serious injuries at the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital (DCFH).
Police are investigating the incident.

It’s very sad in deed. So young to lose your life like that. But on the other hand if’s kinda not too bad. Because we used to lose our young people every week. Sometimes two and three at once. Everytime i read of those fatalities, i always ask if there is a traffic department in the politically compromised CDPF. Those lazies still do not put forward a case for mandatory wearing of headgear by cyclists. Their forte is to dress in green and follow a group of elderlies walking in Roseau on a Wednesday with guns and cameras. What a waste of resources. No surprise though, when the broken force is headed by a numskull who does not even comprehend the term ‘AMNESTY’!
