ADNExUS announces cultural showcase featuring Dominica’s heritage

The Association of Dominicans in the Northeast (ADNExUS) will be hosting a cultural showcase that promises to build on the success of last year’s Ti Matador competition. Organzers promise that this year’s event, set for Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the Scotch Plains Italian-American Club in Scotch Plains, will celebrate Dominica’s rich heritage and vibrant cultural expressions. The evening will showcase music, dance, food, and tradition.

  • Showcase of Dominica’s Most Popular Dance Group: The renowned Know Your Culture dance group will dazzle the audience with their dynamic and traditional dance routines.
  • Authentic Cultural Music Performances: Enjoy the captivating sounds of Colihaut Boyz Lapo Kabwitt band and the Jing Ping Band, delivering an authentic and lively musical experience that embodies the island’s cultural spirit.
  • Parade of Ms Wob: Experience the beauty and grace of Dominica’s traditional dress as the participants showcase their stunning attire in a vibrant parade,
  • Introduction of the 2025 Bel Matador Dominik Contestants:   As we eagerly anticipate the spirited cultural competition in 2025, we will shine a spotlight on the contestants who will soon captivate our hearts. The audience’s appreciation for these talented individuals promises to be a highlight of the event, as they bring unique and diverse personalities to the event.
  • Dance Party with Dominica’s Top Artists: The night will culminate in a high-energy dance party featuring Dominica’s celebrated Prince Wadix Sa Kai Malade, and our own fabulous DJ Bolo.
