An assassination attempt was allegedly made on the life of Wayne Benjamin Marsh, an attorney who has been called to the bar in Dominica. Marsh was shot at in Antigua and Barbuda in a village called Liberta on Wednesday night.
Marsh operated a law firm with his wife in Dominica before migrating to the neighboring island some months ago to practice law. He told the media in St John’s that he was having a discussion with friends when they heard a loud bang and realized it was a bullet.
The bullet reportedly grazed the wall but Marsh said it was intended for him.
According to him, it barely missed his head and he expressed gratitude that he is still alive.
He further said that he believes the incident is politically motivated.
It happened in the constituency of Antigua Labour Party MP, Chet Greene.
Marsh, reportedly, will be contesting that seat for the United Progressive Party whenever elections are called.
Isn’t this dude Antiguan?
I guess being called to the bar in Dominica and being married to one of our most prominent attorneys makes him “Dominican.”

He is from Antigua and Barbuda. The more worrying thing was that the assassination attempt occurred in the village where he is actually from. so if you not safe in your own village….
I wonder about him, so my question is: how can he be an Antiguan born, nevertheless: we are reading that he migrated from Dominica to Antigua?
In my opinion that guy seems not to have any credibility, he lied about someone shooting at him.
That is his way of soliciting sympathy, hoping his lies will help generate some votes.
Something is wrong with him. Note: if it is true that he is married to one we believe to be a very successful lawyer in Dominica, where they both operate a law firm, and he walked away from it to go home to Antigua to play politics; it is either both he and his wife law practice is not generating enough income, hence politics in Antigua and Dominica, is their only hope!
I keep emphasizing, in Dominica and places like Antigua, with small populations, lawyers, and other professionals starve.

The fact that the police in Antigua said there’s no evidence to substantiate any shooting, if you had any intelligence you perhaps could have figured out they (the police) must have interviewed his friends he claimed he was talking with at the time of the alleged incident, who could not verify nor confirm his lie.
