Massy Women’s Caribbean Premier League’s player draft to be streamed on Monday

The Massy Women’s Caribbean Premier League (WCPL) has announced that the official player draft event for the 2025 season will be broadcast on Monday, June 23, at 10:00 AM Eastern Caribbean Time (ECT), 3:00 PM British Summer Time (BST), and 7:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST). A press release from the organizers, Caribbean Premier League, stated that fans both regionally and internationally are invited to watch the live coverage as preparations for the upcoming season unfold.

The draft show will be streamed via the CPL’s official YouTube and Facebook platforms, making it accessible to a broad audience.

Presented by host Alex Jordan, the program will include detailed analysis and expert commentary from cricket analysts Daren Ganga and Nikhil Uttamchandani. Viewers will have an exclusive opportunity to see the complete team rosters, including players who have been retained, signed, or newly drafted across all three franchises.

The participating teams for the 2025 WCPL season are:

– Barbados Royals
– Guyana Amazon Warriors
– Trinbago Knight Riders

The tournament is scheduled to take place from September 6 to September 17 at the Guyana National Stadium in Providence. The event will feature six group-stage matches, culminating in a final where the top two teams will compete to claim the WCPL trophy.
