Information reaching Dominica News Online (DNO) is that one male i ndividual from Belles, Shawn Durand, succumbed to injuries sustained in a motorcycle collision at Pont Cassé earlier today.
The incident is said to have occurred near Shyan’s shop in an area called William in Pont Cassé when, according to reports, the victim sustained serious injuries after losing control of the motor cycle that he was riding.
The reports further indicate that Durand died on the way to the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.
Sean was a really talented guy. He was a real MacGyver; he could repair anything. He was also a really nice and loving guy too. It breaks our hearts to lose you. We will surely miss you Sean. Gone too soon.

Condolences to his family. Accident can happen but young men be careful on those bikes please.
What can I say. Yet another motorcyclist dies while riding his bike. We have too many accidents like this and too be honest we can all say that they should take greater care but our authorities, especially the police could be more proactive in taking measures to reduce this terrible toll. What is their function, what are they paid for if they can not do this? It is too late for Shawn but we can do more for the others and protect them, not infrequent from themselves.
My condolences to the Durand family, may the good Lord shower them with peace beyond measure. However, DNO the area is called William and not Shyan. Shyan is name of the shop owner. I made that mistake also until I was told

Let them wait for people to tell them wear a hellmet when they riding, especually when riding like the devil himself.
Everytime someone dies I wonder if they ever lived for God, because after death that’s it..all that matters is what was done for God’s glory, whether we accepted Jesus or not. No one knows but he is already gone into eternity to late to turn back. no prayers can save his soul if he never accepted God. Condolences to family and friends accept Jesus before it is too late.
A lot of Dominica young men died in bike accidents. I believe the authorities in Dominica have to figure out a solution with those bikes there.

According to blessings; if you young men are going to loose yall life all the time on a bike at least do it for a worthy cause so that you all will be remembered as heros and not another statistics. We need abled body men to restore dignity to our country. Sacrifice for something noble deng it!!!!!!!
