Dominica News Online ( DNO) has received reliable information that 15-year-old Uriel Matthew of Grandbay who was reported missing on the weekend has been found.
Details suggest that she was found by the police in the Yampiece community today and appeared to be in good health.
Previous information from police stated that a report was made to the Grandbay Police Station at about midday on Saturday, March 15 2025.
Further reports stated that she left a note before leaving with a backpack of clothes.
Police are continuing their investigations into the matter.
This man or woman who accomodates these under age young people should be jailed. Period..

Skerro, we like to sugar coat things instead of being honest and that’s where the problem lies. We should tell it like it is.This kid was not really missing therefore to say that was the case here is not being honest.She packed her stuff, wrote a note and left on her own.That’s not someone who’s gone missing. She was not abducted or kidnapped. Let’s be clear. She deliberately left her home for whatever reasons. Obviously, her mom was concerned and rightly so for her safety and well being because she’s a juvenile but again, this kid was not missing when you look at the facts. To make my point and knowing what we know about the case, would we have arrived at the same conclusion (missing) if the individual was an adult? I don’t think so.
