BUSINESS BYTE: Unicomer (Courts) Limited has reopened its doors in Dominica

Unicomer (Dominica) ,also known as Courts, Limited has announced the reopening of its offices to the public on August 24th, 2021, following the Government’s advisement of revised COVID-19 business protocols.

In response to the increase in COVID-19 cases on island, the company re-launched its We Are All Essential campaign.  The campaign is a public relations effort aimed at educating and encouraging citizens to take personal responsibility in the fight against COVID-19.

Keith Miller, Retail Sales Manager, Unicomer (Dominica) Limited, explained, “Consistent with the government’s mandate, we have also introduced even stricter measures with the reopening of our store to ensure that our staff and customers are in a safe environment. We recognize that we are all essential in the fight against COVID-19.  In light of this, we have added more sanitization stations, reduced capacity in the stores and we’re also encouraging our customers to pay their bills and shop online at shopcourts.com.”

He said as an added incentive, customers who shop online will receive a 10% discount when they use the code ESSENTIAL10.

Miller added, “As leaders in the business community, we must all do our part to assist the Government in its efforts to keep the people of Dominica safe. This can only be done when everyone does the essential to control the spread of the virus to preserve life, health and the economy. Similarly, every single person is essential in the fight — and we will win when everyone practices the safety protocols.”

DNO, what is Unicomer about? You could at least explain what they do.

ADMIN: Thank you, you make a good point. We have updated the release to indicate that the business operates as “Courts”.
