
Individuals aged 13 to 21 from CARICOM and CARICOM Associate Countries are encouraged to submit their applications promptly to participate in the fourth edition of the Caribbean STEM Olympiads (CSO).
The CSO welcomes both individual participants and teams representing schools, clubs, or organizations to compete across three age categories. Participants can earn medals—platinum, gold, silver, or bronze—and may also be eligible for cash awards in the following disciplines:
(a) Robotics & Electronics Systems Olympiad
(b) Computer Coding Olympiad
(c) Mathematics Olympiad
Application Process and Submission Deadlines
Comprehensive details regarding the CSO events, along with the initial registration form (Form 1 – Personal Registration), are available at caribbeanscience.org/cso/.
The final registration deadline is November 30, 2025. However, teams planning to participate in the Robotics & Electronics Systems Olympiad and seeking financial assistance for parts must complete their registration by September 28, 2025.
Preliminary elimination rounds are scheduled for mid to late December 2025, with the final competitions set for January 12–18, 2026.
Information Sessions
To support participants in their preparation, the Caribbean Science Foundation (CSF) will host three informational webinars via Zoom at 7:00 PM AST on Sundays, at the following dates:
– September 14, 2025
– September 21, 2025
– October 12, 2025
– November 16, 2025
The sessions aim to:
– Offer detailed insights into the Olympiad events
– Explain rules, entry requirements, and judging procedures
– Provide opportunities for attendees to ask questions and express concerns
Participants and interested parties are encouraged to attend these sessions to gain clarity and assistance in their preparations.
