CARICOM logo competition now taking submissions

The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat has announced the initiation of a design contest for the official emblem of the Standing Committee of Caribbean Statisticians (SCCS), according to a recent CARICOM press release. This initiative is part of the broader celebration of the Year of Statistics in 2025, which carries the theme “Enhancing Lives through Data, Advancing Together.”

A statement from CARICOM Communications explained that eligible participants are nationals of CARICOM member states who are 18 years of age or older. It also outlined that submissions must be received by September 5, 2025. The winning designer will be awarded a state-of-the-art Apple MacBook Pro M4 Max 16, with the award presentation scheduled during the SCCS’s 50th meeting in Curaçao this October.

All entries should be directed via email to [email protected], addressed to the Caribbean Community Secretariat and marked for Mr. Halim Brizan, Director of the Regional Statistics Programme.

Additionally, copies should be sent to Mr. Dike Noel, Manager of Communications, at [email protected], as specified in the official CARICOM release.
