Carnival Cruise Lines vessel diverted to Dominica due to rough seas

Carnival Fascination docked at Woodbridge Bay on Wednesday morning

Carnival Fascination operated by Carnival Cruise Lines is presently docked at the Woodbridge Bay Port at Fond Cole after being diverted to Dominica due to rough seas.

An officer of the Discover Dominica Authority (DDA) confirmed the information earlier today.

DNO has since tried to get more details from other officials, however all attempts have proven futile.

Launched in 1994, Carnival Fascination is the fourth of Carnival’s eight Fantasy-class ships, together with SensationFantasy and the “no balcony ships” EcstasyElationImaginationInspirationParadise.

The 70,538-ton, 2,052-passenger cruise ship Carnival Fascination is one of the oldest Carnival ships. She was last refurbished in 2015.

So you mean to tell me the Tourism Minister got excited about a ship that was “diverted to Dominica due to rough seas”. What is there to celebrate nuh? Way papa things are bad in DA papa. Why isn’t Dominica on of their port of call?

The Minister of Tourism (aka Minister of Facebook) posted the news of Carnival on Facebook as if it is some doing of his. Thanks DNO for enlightening us on the reason the ship came to Dominica

So things so bad with our tourism industry everytime a Carnival ship docks in Dominica it makes headlines yet the govt doesn’t see it fit to make amends with one of the world’s most talked about cruise lines? A line that contributed so greatly prior to the New Labour Party era

Hopefully, we were able to capitalize on this opportunity. Ever opportunity to make some money (legally and morally) helps.
