Castle Castle Bruce man charged with dangerous driving in fatal Pottersville accident

Twenty-one-year-old Kacey Cadette of Bayfront, Castle Bruce  has been arrested and charged for causing the death of 43-year-old Heskieth Francis by dangerous driving.

The incident occurred on Saturday August 9, 2025, at about 7:30 AM, on Elliott Avenue, Pottersville in the vicinity of Max Mart Supermarket and involved a Blue Suzuki Swift registration number TQ807 which was registered to the name of C&K Rentals, driven by Cadette.

According to reports, Francis a resident of Pottersville who was walking on the western side of the road in a northerly direction was struck by the left front of the vehicle

Cadette appeared before a Roseau Magistrate’s Court on Friday, December 12, 2025, where the charge was read to him.

He was bailed in the sum of $35,000.

As part of his bail conditions, Cadette has to surrender all travel documents.

The matter has been adjourned to March, 2026.

He is represented by Attorney Wayne Norde.

    That was expected.
    However, I am still hoping to see the PM’s son brought before the court to answer for his role in the “accidental” death on Cannot-dress. The then Acting Commissioner who it is alleged aided in his escape from justice is now retired so I am hoping he too can be arrested and charged for the crime of obstruction. Equal justice under the law is all Castle Bruce people and Dcans near and far are asking for.
