On Wednesday, January  14, 2026, officers from the Community Oriented Policing Unit of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) conducted a foot patrol in the Castle Comfort and Wallhouse communities as part of the Force’s ongoing Community Policing Initiative.

According to a statement from the CDPF via their Facebook Page, during the patrol, officers engaged residents, listened to concerns, offered crime-prevention advice, and reinforced the importance of cooperation between the police and the community.

    Aye aye, good job CDPF.

Allu don know when you all mess around I booway allu fast. But, I see Chief Corbette making waves with science based policing. No BS like his two predecessors who could not even mack-time in time with a glistering government boots. I know many including me have criticized Chief Corbette but the man deserves to be commended for his approach thus far. Yeah he made mistakes like the Choksi deal in his quest to get to the top but, at least for now he is working. He just needs to remove his nose from the rear cavity of Poopooyou, Chichi and Commish M-Lissa. You are there to serve the people not politicians bro.
