Dominican musician ColtonT has announced the release of a new visual for his popular bouyon single, “Ice Tea,” which is gaining traction on social media.
A press release from the singer’s camp described the video, filmed in the picturesque location of Parrots Paradise in Portsmouth, as an homage to Dominica. It tells a story set in a tranquil cabin surrounded by the island’s lush greenery, where ColtonT’s character provides care for his partner, portrayed by Laveda Liverpool, as she recovers, with love serving as a key theme.
Directed by Dreamer Filmz and edited by Colton Thomas of Suggestive Inc., the video is “a visual treat—crisp, emotive, and full of island soul”, shared the release.
“Ice Tea” was produced by ICM Records, featuring a riddim created by Ajmal Skyo Peters, which was mixed and mastered by Kirk Blackmoore.
The combination of the storyline and striking visuals in “Ice Tea” is described as highlighting not just the “warmth of love, but the breathtaking beauty of Dominica in high definition.”
