The Sixty-Ninth Meeting of the OECS Authority was held virtually on June 18th 2020, under the Chairmanship of Dr. the Honourable Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
The Secretary-General of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), His Excellency Irwin LaRocque, was also in attendance at the Opening Ceremony.
In the main, the Meeting focused on, inter alia:
(a) The Regional COVID-19 Response
(b) The Reopening of Borders
(c) Support and Financing of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court
(d) Annual Work Plan and Budget of the OECS Commission

Boy OECS and CARICOM can make Roosevelt look stupid. I am so embarrassed to see my people make our PM look like a puppet and an embarrassment. Take a look at this paragraph:
“… A brief virtual Opening Ceremony where remarks were made by the outgoing Chairman, the Honourable Gaston Browne, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda; the incoming Chairman, Dr. the Honourable Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica;”
So PM Gaston Browne is the outgoing chairman and he is referred to as Hon. Gaston Brown. But the mascaraed and puppet of the OECS , who happens to be the incoming chairman is referred to as “Dr” the Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit.
Folks, both Skerrit and Browne received honorary doctorate. But Mr. Brown refused to be called Dr because he knows his people are politically educated whereas Skerrit uses Dr before his name because he feels we sort. Here is Gaston Browne on doctorate

Everything Skerrit is involved in devalues or disintegrates. Dominica is in a constant downward spiral since this rogue assumed the helm of political power. Concrete evidence of this is conspicuously visible in agriculture, manufacturing, sports, the pothole diseased roads, the tarpaulin roofs, joblessness, mendicancy, vagrancy. The list of failures and inadequacies is overly extensive.
All democratic norms have been eroded in Dominica as every aspect of governance is tightly controlled by the autocrat at the top. Nothing in the public service is done without his stamp of approval.
Instead of handing over the chairmanship to Skerrit, the OECS Heads of Government need to send a S.O.S. team to rescue Dominica from sure economic collapse.
Skerrit we are not interested in your words. As you know too well, words are cheap. What we want from you is very simple – we want our money back…!
I’m trying to get my head around the bit in the announcement that specifically interests me: that being reference to the YES I initiative.
I have “read more” and “read more”, and watched the promotional video. But I’m not much the wiser. I’m even sure of the project’s title: is it YES I, YES 1 or YES!.
From what I can gather it is intended to provide students with an opportunity for creative expression and skill development through engagement on authentic, meaningful experiences stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
I can’t grumble with that. But why it did it have to take the COVID-19 pandemic to alert us to the dire need for creative expression and skill development?
The OECS has become nothing but a den of thieves and a club of corrupt leaders and liars. No wonder some of the leaders are under the surveillance of the USA and the only thing that is protecting them is their position as head of state. So I have no trust and no confidence in this organization. Their is no damn truth in Roosevelt Skerrit and as a result, no truth or confidence in what he is part of
Nothing Roosevelt Skerrit is part of is real as seen by his fake title of Dr. His title is mascaraed just as everything about him, whether it’s his French passport, his fake birthdates on his two diplomatic passports or his stolen elections. This man who doesn’t seem to know who to call to wish Happy father’s day is just a fake.
You are right, this man is a major con artist. If it wasn’t for the fact that his office is protecting him to a degree from prosecution, he most certainly would be a resident at Stockfarm. One thing is for sure, we as a country can’t afford to have a man like that calling himself our leader and speak on our behalf.
Will the fake Dr. present as a copy of his dissertation for the Dominican people to see and can he tell us what the subject matter was 😂
Prime Minister Sir, I am glad to know that you are being recognized in your field of work by the other Nations in your territory.
