Miss Sheraine Mills, contestant number 3 in the upcoming Miss Dominica 2026 National Queen Pageant, has been awarded full sponsorship.

The Discover Dominica Authority (DDA), in collaboration with the Dominica Festivals Committee (DFC), announced via press release that Mills has secured financial backing from Republic Bank (EC) Limited, amounting to EC$25,000, which will support her participation in the pageant scheduled for February 12, 2026.

At the official sash presentation ceremony, Mills expressed her appreciation and reaffirmed her dedication to representing her sponsor with pride.

She also shared her advocacy platform, saying: “Through my platform, Breaking the Stigma: Empowering Women Confidently Confronting PCOS, I am committed to extending that same care to my fellow silent warriors – women who courageously navigate life with polycystic ovarian syndrome. PCOS is a common yet often misunderstood condition affecting women of childbearing age across the world. As someone living with this condition, I pledge to be a strong and compassionate voice for awareness, understanding and empowerment.”

Mrs. Sharlene Polydore-Pascal, the Country Manager of Republic Bank (EC) Limited, expressed enthusiasm about partnering with the Discover Dominica Authority for the pageant.

She stated: “This sponsorship is a reflection of our wider commitment to employee development. By supporting Sheraine, we are sending a clear message: our people matter, our youth matter and Dominican talent deserves to shine on the biggest stages. We are proud to stand behind a woman who represents the strength, intelligence and ambition of today’s Dominican professionals.”

“The Discover Dominica Authority applauds Republic Bank (EC) Limited for its investment, noting that the partnership sets a high standard and inspires others to invest in excellence, empowerment, and Dominican pride. The DDA also encourages other partners to support the 2026 Miss Dominica National Queen Pageant,” concluded the statement.
