In response to the heartbreaking incident, the school announced the suspension of classes for the remainder of the day to allow students and staff to process the tragedy.

A statement from the school’s staff expressed their deep sorrow, noting Kimroy’s bright personality and positive influence within the school community: “Kimroy was a bright star and a wonderful part of the Convent Prep family. In the classroom, Kimroy worked hard and consistently achieved academic success throughout his years with us. He will always be remembered for the gentle and positive presence he brought to our school.
