COVID-19: UK PM admitted to hospital for tests

Boris Johnson

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been admitted to hospital for tests, 10 days after testing positive for coronavirus, Downing Street has said.

He was taken to a London hospital on Sunday evening with “persistent symptoms” – including a temperature.

It is said to be a “precautionary step” taken on the advice of his doctor.

The prime minister remains in charge of the government, but the foreign secretary is expected to chair a coronavirus meeting on Monday morning.

Mr Johnson is expected to stay overnight and is having what have been described as “routine tests”, according to BBC Political Editor Laura Kuenssberg.

In a statement, a Downing Street spokeswoman said: “On the advice of his doctor, the prime minister has tonight been admitted to hospital for tests.

This article need to be updated; he is no longer in the hospital for tests; he is now in intensive care!

    Note:
Intensive care medicine, also called critical care medicine; is a medical specialty that deals with critically ill patients who have, are at risk of, or are recovering from conditions that may be life-threatening.

It includes providing life support; invasive monitoring techniques, resuscitation, and end-of-life care.

Doctors in this specialty are often called intensive care physicians, critical care physicians or intensivists.

From that information, judge for yourself, I think he is very ill!

In Iran, some of the top Law givers have perished from C-19, Mr Johnson it seems,is carrying the banner for Western leaders, and we should all wish Him the best. As the new kid on the political block in imperial England, he really did bring it. Then again, Mr Johnson’ past lifestyle of doing diminishing things to his Immune System, make him prime candidate. The beauty to be seen in this whole Pandemic, is that there is no discrimination, no class, no wake, a funeral of two, and don’t forget you Die alone. these are the Evils and Pestilence that the Ancients alluded to in the final hour of all individual Man/Woman. Specially those not MAAT conscious .

Skerrit doesn’t fall sick! All you just wouldn’t see him for 2 or 3 weeks and all of a sudden he would turn up again flown in by a private jet at state expenses having cured whatever he had at a private hospital in the US.
