Miss Dominica 2026 contestant number 4, Daina Graneau, is set to host a special community gathering aimed at promoting her advocacy platform, “The Hidden Victims – A Commitment to Protecting the Innocence in Violent Homes.”
As per a DDA press release, the event, titled Daina’s Tea Party – “Here’s the Tea,” is scheduled for Saturday, December 20, 2025. It will kick off at 1:00 PM with a motorcade starting from Antrizle and heading to St. Cyr, followed by a return journey to Atkinson Primary School.
The release explains that the event employs the concept of “tea” as a symbolic and playful metaphor for honesty, current updates, and meaningful dialogue. During the gathering, Miss Graneau will formally introduce her platform to the local community, alongside a festive Crazy Christmas Hat Competition for children, designed to foster creativity, self-expression, and confidence among young participants.
Expressing her excitement about the occasion, Miss Graneau shared,”This is a fun and creative community forum where ‘tea’ means truth, updates, and meaningful conversation. It’s about engaging with my community in a way that is both informative and celebratory.”
Daina’s Tea Party will serve as a perfect platform for community members to connect with key stakeholders, exchange information on national, cultural, and local initiatives, and explore avenues for advocacy, youth involvement, and support for small businesses, added the release.
According to organizers, community engagement through the platforms of Miss Dominica contestants is a pivotal aspect of the pageant’s mission, promoting significant connections and raising awareness on key social issues. These outreach efforts are vital as contestants gear up for the upcoming Miss Dominica competition, scheduled for February 12, 2026.
