Bishop Gabriel Malzaire who has been Bishop of the Diocese of Roseau for the past 20 years, is returning to his homeland as the new Metropolitan Archbishop of Castries, St Lucia.
His Installation as Metropolitan Archbishop of Castries will take place on Mercy Sunday, April 24, 2022.
Below is a video of a farewell to the Archbishop-elect presented by the Diocese of Roseau.
Oh, look at those two … mens
Catholic church is simply one big corporation. Leaders elected and money/power is the name of the game.
Glad you are out of my country; along with your politics!
Perhaps now you can sell your body and soul to some politician in St. Lucia.
My only wish is that you would have take Roosevelt Skerrit that corrupted crook with you.
A country you are scared to return to. That is why his Lordship occupied your country for twenty years and served it very well. Where have you been?
ds I was thinking the same thing. Telemaque is afraid to return to Dominica because of his wilful badmouthing against the Government for all the wrong reasons, I know that is true. How can he call her “my country”, when he is afraid to visit her.
Elizabeth, I am not afraid to return to Dominica, if anything I worry I may have to burst somebody head open eh!
Hahahahahahahahahahahha
One of the real reason I am not traveling to Dominica, is because there are no International Airport; I am not prepared to be in the sky’s for more than 18 hours to get to Dominica, as the last time I went; when my daughter and I got there all my daughter designer cloths were stolen.
Besides, why would anyone with medical issues like me be anxious to go to a backward place where if I have a medical emergency the quacks, butchers, could not deal with the issue.
I will continue to say anything I wish about Roosevelt Skerrit and his feces cleaning puppets. Roosevelt or none of the others are God!
They may be gods to those who depend on them, but I’ll tell you this; they screw with me they would be tangling with the devil in hell!
I fear not any man, Roosevelt nor any other; in the flesh and blood I can take care of the baddest!
Elizabeth, I have learnt the meaning of freedom of speech, I’ve been liberated, and nothing like that thing, that damn river rat, that corrupted crook, that damn thi.. can shut me up or scare me.
I am not afraid of Roosevelt, his dogs, the police nor any of his assassins, be sure if they kill me, those who kill me shall die also, not only them but their entire family!
And if they lock me up as they did to Fountain; that will cause Roosevelt political demise; I am not a nobody, he would enter a war with me that he would live to regret!
I have walked with all sorts of creatures of the night before, I am not afraid.
ds, that man was as vile as they come; he sold his soul to Roosevelt Skerrit for money!
Roosevelt gave him five hundred thousand dollars of poor people’s money, in return he told Roosevelt “you will be compensated.” Perhaps you ds, can explain or interpret what Malzaire meant, because I can’t.
To this day, we have not seen any progress on the building; of course if the money is curse it cannot yell anything.
The worst thing that man has done was when organized boat rides, and used a man and a young woman dancing gyrating in a short dress to attract men to spend their money on the boat trip.
As if to say if you come, women like this one will be at your disposal!
He did not serve Dominica, he served Roosevelt Skerrit, that is why even Frankey Bellot referred to him as our boy bishop!
Malzaire Karma is a B ,you leaving Dominica won’t make a difference your heart is tainted. You sat on your throne with your staff in hand like Moses and heard skerrit and his goons tear gas a hole Catholic community and you stayed silent . They use the church as their shield and you said nothing ,we lost many of our elders in that area, they were very strong people that would live to see many more years. They could not run, they did not know what it was in that early morning ,every time you seat by your self you will be hearing the cry of the Salisbury people woe unto you malzaire the prayers of my people will hunt you.
ArchBishop Gabriel Malzaire served the members of the Catholic Church very well in Dominica. He was a caring, spiritually sound and loving head of the church. He has been called to higher office – a testament to his achievements and character.
No one can please everyone.
That’s your opinion and you are perfectly settled t it. However, I staunchly disagree with you. This man of the cloth deafening silence, deliberately or inadvertently, gave succor to a corrupt regime in their wickedness.
What a difference, a man of his influence, could have made if he had only speak truth to power. Instead, he has been rewarded by those in the Vatican, for his indifference to the suffering of an entire nation.
You won’t be missed! Your silence over the years speaks volumes. I’m not surprised that your churches are empty.
I will certainly miss him. Bishop Malzaire did a lot for the Catholic community and Dominica in general. A lot was achieved on the pastoral and academic fronts; not to mention the great work done in the restoration and building of churches.
As longs as people don’t speak the same language with you all you’re angry with them. Just pray that you you get a tenth of bishop’s brain. Thank you bishop for all you’ve done. Now you are back in the land of your birth so probably rightfully so as a st Lucian you can comment on the politics of your nation.
I got dat goneh already
Politics and religion are two evils. Both are used to benefit a few and completely control the minds of the masses. They are used as instruments to divide & rule; to enslave; to indoctrinate; to sow seeds of discord and disaffection among the people; and to suppress citizens into submission.
The Bishop’s departure from Dominica should be celebrated as a Red Letter Day. Only Vladimir Skerrit and his cabinet of servile disciples need to follow the disgraced bishop so Dominicans can breathe again and celebrate a new life of true indepedence .
Thank you Mr. Malzaire.
Have a great trip.
More to follow..You follow? You follow….
Sorry your reverend bishop but your leaving was like a fizzling sparkler just like the legacy you left behind. I hope you give the people of St. Lucia more reason to rejoice. Good luck.
One demon out many more to follow
The best news for the year in Dominica. GOOD RIDDANCE!!!
