DLP announces rally for 70th anniversary

The Dominica Labour Party (DLP) has announced its upcoming National Rally, marking the celebration of the party’s 70th anniversary. According to a press release from the DLP, the rally is scheduled for Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 3:00 PM and will be held at the Dublanc Playing Field in the Colihaut Constituency.

The party stated that this is a milestone event that is expected to gather party members, supporters, and citizens from across Dominica.

The DLP encourages all supporters and citizens to participate in what it describes as “the most unified, steadfast, and progress-driven political movement in Dominica’s history.”

The party has announced that the keynote speaker for the occasion will be the Honourable Mia Amor Mottley, MP, SC, who is the Prime Minister of Barbados and the Political Leader of the Barbados Labour Party. Prime Minister Mottley, states the DLP, is recognized as a regional figure and advocate for Caribbean unity and development, and she is expected to deliver a message of solidarity, strength, and vision during the event.

The DLP release emphasized that over the past 70 years, it has served as a pillar of peace, stability, and progress in Dominica. It further highlighted its contributions to various sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic growth, reaffirming its ongoing commitment to building a stronger and more resilient nation.

That’s NOT the Real Labour Party existing for 70 years.
These guys were part of the Freedom Party … Skerro as the President of the Young Freedom Movement, Charlo as president of the CSA who was part of the Eugenia Charles Party who opposed the Patrick John Labour Party and killed it. Many others under the shadows….
Skerrit under the disguise of the Dominica Labour Party barely has 25 years…
The motto of the Real Labour Party is : “ALL SHALL EAT” and NOT some shall eat.
Perro, Rosie, PJ, Michael Douglas, any of these guys were around, Dominica would have been a better place to live.

That’s an AI generated photo to give the country and the world the impression that the DLP has the support of everyone living in Dominica. This is deliberate and meticulously mind bending journalism.

Every time you click on DNO online news site, you will confronted by a plethora of specious articles and scripts highlighting the spectacularly awe-inspiring work of this bottom placed government in the OECS.

The question is this – Has DNO now become the main PR entity of this DLP government?

This post is very likely be discarded by DNO never to be given the light of day. They are hyper sensitive to criticism. They will even attack me as they have done before. It’s quite okay with me. I speak fearlessly.

Yes Chi-Chi…After opposition politicians have been arrested, locked up and abused, now it’s good time to have your rally.
You are not alone in this though; you are ably supported by a failed police force which lacks leadership and direction.
You are a very LAZY, vindictive and wicked leader, but at least you know that election can only be won on the ground, and not in a radio station, where ONE SET of ‘parrots’ call from January to December, to see who is the best PARROT.
