
The Dominica National Lottery (DNL) has introduced its newest jackpot game to the public, dubbed ‘Match 5’ giving persons more chances to play and win.
The game which was launched on Friday, September 5 has a starting jackpot of $10,000 where players choose 5 numbers from a range of 1 to 29, with tickets costing only $2.00.
“Today, it gives me extreme pride to stand here before you for the official launch of Match 5, Dominica’s very own local jackpot game,” Dominican National Camisha Richards said.
She is also the newly appointed General Manager for CBN Dominica and CBN St Lucia.
“This is more than just another lottery game. Match 5 is a game for the people, by the people [and] it was designed with our players in mind, offering excitement, affordability and the opportunity to win life-changing prizes,” she stated. “At just $2 per play, players can get the chance to win a starting jackpot of $10,000, with the jackpot rising after every draw until it is won.”
According to Richards, the DNL anticipates this jackpot to be won every four to five weeks.
“Today’s launch is just the beginning,” she noted. “March 5 represents the first of many exciting product expansions that the Dominican National Lottery has planned.”
Richards continued, “As we look ahead to 2026, our players and the public can expect even more innovative games, more opportunities to win and more ways in which the lottery will continue to contribute to national development.”
The Dominica National Lottery explained on its website that:
Players who match five (5) out of the five (5) winning numbers win the jackpot.
Players who match four (4) out of the five (5) winning numbers will receive EC$100
Players who match three (3) out of the five (5) winning numbers will receive EC$10
Players who match two (2) out of the five (5) winning numbers will receive 2 free single play tickets
Tickets can be purchased and cashed at any lottery agent.
Prizes of $1000 and more must be claimed at the Central Lottery Office with a valid picture ID.
Prizes must be claimed within 90 days of the draw date.
The Match5 Draws take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:00 p.m.
