On Saturday, December 7, 2024, the Dominica Association of Evangelical Churches (DAEC) convened its Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The meeting was attended by a diverse group of pastors and leaders within the evangelical community, marking a significant occasion in the association’s calendar.
During this year’s AGM, various important topics and issues were deliberated, with comprehensive notes taken to guide the association’s future initiatives. The meeting also included elections for the roles of president and vice president, and the results have now been finalized.
The executive team of the DAEC is now composed of the following members:
– President: Rev. Matthew Auguiste
– Vice President: Pastor Dr. Robertson Thomas
– Secretary: Rev. Mrs. Jennifer C. Valerie
– Treasurer: Minister Avril Junkere
– Assistant Secretary/Treasurer: Rev. Dontae Adams
Additional members include:
– Apostle Joseph Benjamin
– Rev. Casmus John
“We look forward to continuing to work with all of our evangelical partners going forward,” expressed the organization via statement.
The only person capable of making any substancial contribution at the top within this organization is Pastor Randy Rodney. The man speaks the truth regardless of who gets offended. Granted, he is not perfect but he is fearless because he knows the man above and those of us down here who gives a s**t has his back.
However, it is what it is and I will keep my eyes on those elected to see what they do moving forward.

What has this religious organisation done to alter the ensure a better standard of living for all of God’s children in the Commonwealth of Dominica?
The country is riddled with crime, poverty, corruption, preventable diseases, animosity, obeah, just overwhelmed with decadence. The local Evangelical Association and its cousins just preach to the members of their choir and take their offerings and tithes.
Religion is the opiate of the people. Religion, these days, provides the suffering, downtrodden, oppressed people with a pleasant illusion to look for their reward in the sky with the coming of the Savior.
The poor is blinded by religion from demanding their fair share from the rich who governs them. They (poor people) look for their reward after life on earth in heaven.
