Dominica Athletics Association Awards Ceremony 2025 and cocktail reception slated for this weekend

“Celebrating Excellence, Inspiring the Future” will be the motivating theme for the Dominica Athletics Association (DAA) Annual Awards Ceremony for 2025, scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 6. This year’s celebrations will be held at the Public Service Union, as announced via press release.

According to the DAA, for many years, the DAA has played a pivotal role in the development of track and field sports across Dominica, taking athletes from the grassroots level all the way to international competitions. The release added that the recent 2024/2025 athletic seasons have been particularly noteworthy, marked by remarkable performances at regional and global events, a surge in youth engagement, and a broader expansion of the national athletics calendar.

The awards ceremony aims to acknowledge and celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, and strategic partners whose unwavering dedication has helped advance the sport. The event will feature award presentations, special recognitions, and a festive cocktail reception.

“This event underscores the DAA’s mission to elevate athletics in Dominica while inspiring the next
generation to strive for excellence both on and off the track,” said the team.
