Dominica Athletics Association yearly general meeting slated for May 24

The Dominica Athletics Association (DAA) has announced that its Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the conference room of the Dominica Olympic Committee.

The AGM, shared organizers, provides a platform for members and stakeholders involved in athletics in Dominica to review past activities, plan future initiatives, and discuss relevant topics. During the meeting, the Association will present reports on activities and finances for the year 2024, provide updates on athlete development and competitions, and discuss strategic initiatives for the period 2025–2026.

All member clubs, athletes, coaches, officials, and interested parties are encouraged by the DAA to attend. The  Association emphasizes the importance of community input as it aims to strengthen the sport and promote the ongoing development of athletics across the island.

Meeting agenda highlights include:
– President’s Address
– Presentation of the 2024 Financial and Activity Reports
– Plans for Upcoming National and Regional Competitions
– Development Programs and Training Opportunities
– Strategic Plan for 2025 to 2030
– Open Forum for Member Feedback and Proposals
