On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, the newly elected members of the Dominica Calypso Association convened for a meeting to determine official positions within the organization.
Following this, the organization reported that Gregory “Karessah” Rivierre was appointed as the President, while Fitzroy “Bingo” Leon assumed the role of Vice President. The Secretary position was filled by Renna “Mystrie” Prosper, and Joey “Explosion” Loyd was elected as Treasurer.
The team also designated Royette Laurent as the Assistant Secretary/Treasurer. Peter Letang was chosen to serve as Public Relations Officer.
The association’s membership was listed as Jerry “Oracle” Loyd, Chester “Daddy Chess” Letang, and Keith “Tronada” Hurtault.
Is this correct ? So how many members does the Calypso Association have ?
I believe they meant to say “committee members.”
