Dominica Lions Club supports youth education with donated supplies

The Dominica Lions Club has recently extended a helping hand to local students by donating a variety of stationery supplies to three primary schools: Goodwill, Newtown, and Giraudel. This contribution aims to equip young learners with the essential tools they need to thrive academically.

A press release from the club shared that the initiative was made possible through benefactor Tamika Jude, whose ongoing support, the group says, continues to have a meaningful impact on youth development within the community.

Consisting of key school supplies, including notebooks, pens, pencils, and other classroom essentials, these materials will not only support students’ daily educational activities but also alleviate some of the financial burdens faced by families and schools. The Lions Club says that these efforts highlight its dedication to fostering a nurturing environment for education and community growth, while reflecting an unwavering commitment to the humanitarian goals of Lions Clubs International (LCI).

The organization’s programs aim to strengthen communities and promote the well-being of youth through education and service initiatives.

Representatives of the club expressed heartfelt appreciation to Ms. Jude for her generosity and willingness to collaborate in this meaningful effort.

“Service remains at the core of what Lions stand for, and contributions like these help ensure that students have the support they need to grow, learn, and pursue their goals,” they emphasized.

The Dominica Lions Club also invites individuals and organizations that share their passion for service to join in their efforts.
