As a mark of reflection, Dominica will observe three days of prayer and fasting from Friday 25th June (today) to Sunday 27th June.
“The government of the Commonwealth of Dominica is mindful of the goodness and mercies of God to us as a people, not only in preserving us during the Covid-19 Pandemic, but also for his constant help and protection during all our many endeavors in the past,” Minister of Governance, Public Service Reform, Citizen Empowerment, Social Justice and Ecclesiastical Affairs, Gretta Roberts said.“As a mark of reflection and thanksgiving, we acknowledge that God has indeed been good to us…”
According to Roberts prayers will be offered during the course of the day at 9:00AM, 12 noon and 3:00PM on various radio stations to pray for protection during the hurricane season and the Covid-19 Pandemic.
“We also pray for a spirit of unity, brotherhood and togetherness so that we may live peaceable lives as children of God,” she indicated.
This prayer and fasting session will culminate with a thanksgiving mass or service on Saturday 26th, June or Sunday 27th June depending on one’s day of worship.
These politicians are very condescending. They are of the opinion that people are so gullible, can’t see to change their gov’t every 10 years, so they cling on to a bible (like Trump) and dangle it in front of all-u letting you know they in bed with the holy ghost(whoever that ghost is).
The fast of Skerrit and those hypocrite pastors of Baal, reminds me of the fast of Isaiah 58. Those hypocrites would eat their belly full while they knew their neighbors were hungry but instead of sharing with them they went to fast and God had to rebuke them! These hypocrite pastors saw Skerrit use our resources to buy them Ham and Turkey while their fellow church members and biological relatives didn’t even have a kayi to eat, but they said nothing. They see Skerrit give money to those that have too much while the poor among us are suffering but they say nothing. They see people that didn’t need a house get a new house while the poor whose house was destroyed have to be on the begging list. But today they want to pray and fast with Skerrit? I wonder if they got some of the Monfared and now Choksi corrupt money? Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge?
If he would be honest to the people and true to his conscience, then the nation would be truly healed.
All of these Ministers of Government including the PM, all need a series of serious confessionals, not another prayer party.

Lord as we pray and fast for these three days, I pray that you would render to PM Skerrit the same things he intend to do to Mr. Mehul Choksi. I do not know what he intends to do with the man but you know. So Lord I pray that whatever he plans to do to him, whether good or bad, justice or injustice, righteous or unrighteous will be returned to him by you Seven fold Lord. I pray that international kidnappers from all countries be brought to justice in the Hague.

Why is it that satan is calling upon people to pray? Will God bless what he does not condone, like the lies, kidnapping, cheating and thievery ?
