Finally someone has grown some serious bore-alls bigger than the SOS own I see. I wonder if that meeting would
have been scheduled if the SOS was on island…smmfh  Mr. Letang we the people (not politicians) are closely monitoring your behavior this time  around.

A meeting is unwarranted at this time because we have kept wayyyy too many of these just to blow hot air and give the SOS time. I hope the deadline will be no more than a few days before the shutdown horn sounds. I am watching

Mr Letang can you explain your business relationship with a top lawyer of the Dominica Labor Party? In other words Roosevelt Skerrit party. And have you collected enough evidence that Roosevelt Skerrit gave himself a big raise in salary? Mr Letang are you a coward or are you just playing smart? And what have all the regional so called meetings you and your secretary have attended done to the PSA and it’s members? We all know you are a coward. Just admit this in your meeting.

The DPSU is like a headless chicken with this chicken-hearted, jellyfish personality as its leader. Some people are of the fallacious notion that because he is some nigh thirty years as a unionist, he has the experience to lead the flock. Experience is the best teacher most would espouse. However, experience doing the wrong thing over and over again is of no value.

I lost all respect for the DPSU leader when public servants were given a 1.25% increase, which is $1.25 on every $100.00 he/she gets paid. To my bewilderment, Mr. Letting said he was quite satisfied. The union members should have called for his resignation forthwith.

Another waste of time. Your livelihood depends on you. Who else or what else does it depend on. It should have read, don’t you be a bum, or you will end up in a slum. You should ask President Irfan Ali for help since Guyana is making a windfall after the discovery of oil. Guyana now is the fastest growing economy in the entire Caribbean. Do like Patrick John in 1977. He asked Dr. Williams for help to pay his civil servants for back pay. Back then the oil in Trinidad was going massive. Things were booming after oil was discovered in Trinidad. Maybe our water should be our oil. Ask Athie Martin?

The only failure concerning leadership that has surpassed that of Roosevelt’s is Thomas Letang as the GS of the Dominica Public Service Union. His three (3) decades as ‘Boss’ of the DPSU has been a monumental waste of time and resources.

If the DPSU is to fulfill its mandate, Mr. Lettang MUST be replaced by someone younger, more courageous and militant (I don’t mean riotous), more of a team leader, and more of a motivator.

The Union is in need of a paradigm shift. No ‘dinosaur’ can offer this.

Hot debate. What do you think? Thumb up 4 Thumb down 4
