Dominica State College set to welcome over one hundred new students in new semester

Dominica State College (DSC) is preparing to greet roughly 150 incoming students as it prepares to open its doors for the January 2026 academic term.

To facilitate a seamless integration into college life, the institution shared via media statement that it has scheduled a New Student Orientation from January 12 to January 14, 2026. This orientation will feature several mandatory sessions aimed at introducing new students to academic standards, college regulations, available support resources, and campus activities. The school said the goal of these sessions is to help students transition smoothly into higher education and to equip them with essential tools for success at DSC.

Classes for the upcoming semester are set to commence on January 19, 2026, marking the official start of the academic programs across the college’s various faculties.

“Dominica State College looks forward to welcoming its newest cohort and remains committed to providing a supportive, engaging, and high-quality learning environment for all students,” concluded the release.
