
Dominica has won the Miss OECS Pageant title twice in a row, with the reigning Miss Dominica Tanisha Balson securing the crown at lastnight’s competition held at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium (Carnival City).
Balson, who remained consistent in every round of the competition lastnight, outperfomed four other contestants.
She copped the awards for Best Creative National Wear, Best in Creative National Wear, Best Evening Wear and Best Performing Talent.
Miss Antigua & Barbuda Kia Kirwan grabbed the 1st runner up spot and won the awards for Best in Evening Wear, Best in Swimwear and Miss Amity. And Miss Anguilla Ariel Bushay who secured the 2nd Runner Up position won the awards for Best Swimwear, Best Response to Question and Best Promotional Video.
The other contestants were Donyelle Hodge of the British Virgin Islands (BVI) and Dahvana Providence of St Vincent & the Grenadines.
Dominica’s Kyanna Dyer won the Miss OECS Pageant Title last year.
