
Antigua police have detained a Dominican national who it is said is wanted in this country for murder.
The 29-year-old man was reportedly detained in the English Harbour area at around 3pm on Thursday, by officers from the Narcotics Department, who were on duty in that location.
Reports are that he was arrested and taken to the Langfords Police Station, and that he will be handed over to the Dominican authorities.
It is believed that the suspect entered Antigua illegally.
The police did not disclose the man’s identity
