Its Single Rum garnered an impressive score of 91 points, securing the honor for the distillery. The rum boasts an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 48%.
A press release issued by the company describes this as recognition of not only the superior quality of the entered products but also their overall appeal to contemporary consumers who prioritize these attributes.
The London Spirits Competition, which took place in March 2025, traditonally awards products that excel in three core categories: Quality, Value, and Packaging.
According to the press release, the success of Rosalie Bay Distillery at the competition was further supported by a robust global network that appreciates both the craftsmanship involved in spirit production and the conservation efforts associated with it. RBD operates under the motto “Pour to Protect,” as shared by the release, indicating that each bottle sold aids in funding initiatives to preserve Dominica’s rich biodiversity, including the protection of species such as whales, dolphins, and sea turtles, while also ensuring the continued operation of the distillery.
The company identifies itself as “the world’s first conservation distillery.”
