DOMLEC crews on standby for repair after storm

Dominica Electricity Services Limited (DOMLEC) officials have indicated that the company is aware that customers in some parts of the island are without electricity.

According to an announcement from the company on Friday morning, restoration efforts were affected by the adverse weather conditions being experienced due to the passage of Tropical Storm Jerry.

“Crews are on standby once safety permits,” the announcement said. “Please stay tuned for further updates.”

DOMLEC stated that it apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
