DOMLEC reports power outage in the north of the island

Dominica Electricity Services (DOMLEC) has announced a power outage affecting areas from Amba Junction to Penville, including parts of Woodford Hill.

In a public statement, the company confirmed that its on-call crew has been notified and will begin restoration efforts once conditions are deemed safe.

DOMLEC also urged residents to exercise caution amid the ongoing inclement weather.

    Here we go again. In modernity, where electricity is essential, the system is so unbelievably unreliable. Dominica under the present tenure of Roosevelt and his cabinet of stooges is the WORST!
    *worst power plant ( electrical grid) in the Caribbean
    *worst water system unquestionably in the western hemisphere
    *worst corrupt and incompetent government on the planet
    *worst anachronistic administration in the OECS
    *worst kept capital city (unsightly, odorous, unattractive, unlovely)
