The Dominica SiFoCol Alumni Association (DSAA) has announced the launch of its 2025 Community Social Impact Grant. A press release from the organization stated that this funding opportunity is supported through proceeds from the organization’s signature fundraising event, “White Sunset with a Hint of Creole an all-white charitable gala. The grant aims to assist grassroots community organizations, youth-led initiatives, and nonprofit entities in developing and implementing projects that generate tangible benefits for communities throughout Dominica.
The DSAA Community Social Impact Program says it seeks to address societal challenges, foster equitable growth, and strengthen local communities by supporting initiatives in areas such as education, healthcare, environmental preservation, youth development, and support for marginalized groups.
Eligibility Criteria
– Who Can Apply?
Registered nonprofit or non-governmental organizations, community groups, and youth organizations operating within Dominica.
– Project Focus Areas:
Applications should align with DSAA’s mission and focus on at least one of the following sectors:
– Education
– Healthcare
– Environmental Sustainability
– Youth Development
– Support for Marginalized Communities
