Fine Foods Inc donates hurricane supplies and cash to local NGOs

Two non-profit organizations are the beneficiaries of a donation of cash and hurricane essentials from Fine Foods Inc. through its brand BOP Insecticide Spray, for the hurricane season. This donation includes $4000.00 in cash and kind to the Dominica Red Cross Society and $3000.00 worth of hurricane essentials including canned goods, water, toiletries, and BOP insecticide spray that the company distributes to Chances, a place of safety for children at risk..

“Fine Foods Inc prides itself on community involvement and is proud to make this donation to community welfare as we believe in making a positive impact beyond our business operations. Our contribution to these organizations will amplify our commitment to sustainability and supporting the vulnerable members of our community in times of disaster. The donation will provide the Dominica Red Cross with additional support to assist during the hurricane season and will help Chances to be better prepared,” stated Antoine Liverpool, Marketing Manager for Fine Foods Inc.

Brand Coordinator for the BOP brand, Miss Sabrina Royer added that “these two organizations were chosen due to the active role they play in providing support to the vulnerable. The Dominica Red Cross is a renowned nonprofit organization dedicated to building safer, healthier, and resilient communities and provides support during and after natural disasters while Chances is an institution providing comprehensive care, and support to orphaned children.”

Expressing his appreciation for Fine Foods and BOP for their generous donation, Don Corriette, Vice President of the Dominica Red Cross Society Corriette remarked that the donation will go a long way in assisting the organization to provide services to the needy, specifically in emergency and disaster.

Mrs. Jenny St.Valle of Chances conveyed her thanks to the organization for the support, acknowledging that the food supplies will assist with the care of the children at the facility.
