First bi-monthly issue of Creole HeartBeat Newsletter out now

Creole Heartbeat has announced the inaugural issue of the Creole Heartbeat Newsletter, a bi-weekly publication dedicated to showcasing the island’s rich traditions, musical heritage, and cultural expressions.

A press release from the organization said that by introducing this twice-monthly newsletter, its goal is to be a reliable source for stories and updates on Dominica’s vibrant cultural scene, music, and heritage. As preparations intensify for the upcoming 25th anniversary of the World Creole Music Festival (WCMF), this initial edition highlights the much-anticipated nightly lineups that festival-goers eagerly await.

The Creole Heartbeat Newsletter, said the statement, “aims to provide readers with authentic, engaging, and timely stories that celebrate Dominica’s identity while connecting with the wider Caribbean diaspora. It serves as both a cultural journal and an informational hub for festivals, concerts, and Creole initiatives.”

The first edition is now accessible online at creole-heartbeat-newsletter-issue-1. Subscribers can sign up to receive future editions directly via email, ensuring they remain connected to the rhythm of Dominica’s cultural landscape.

As a dedicated platform, Creole Heartbeat founders state that it promotes Creole heritage through media coverage, events, and storytelling, with a focus on music, cultural traditions, and community engagement. Its goal is reportedly to inspire and unify audiences both locally and abroad, celebrating the enduring spirit of Dominica’s vibrant culture.
