Flow Dominica has issued an official apology to its customers following a recent regional service interruption that affected television services across the island. The company also announced, via the statement, that all Flow TV customers will receive a 12% rebate on their upcoming bills as a gesture of goodwill and acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused.
The disruption began around 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 14, and was traced back to a commercial power failure at one of Flow’s critical regional network facilities located in Curaçao. Due to the interconnected nature of Flow’s infrastructure across the Caribbean, this power failure led to technical failures that impacted TV services not only in Dominica but also in several other regional markets.
To compensate affected customers, Flow Dominica says that the 12% rebate will be automatically applied to their upcoming billing statements. This applies to all Flow TV customers, including those who may not have been directly impacted by the outage, as part of the company’s effort to support and thank its valued customers.
In addition to the rebate, Flow Dominica has unlocked over 40 premium channels for free viewing through July 2nd. The company stated that this initiative is intended as a token of appreciation for the patience and support shown by customers during the service disruption.
Flow Dominica expressed that it recognizes the importance of television services in the daily lives of its customers and sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience caused.
Also, it reassures its customers that ongoing efforts are underway to reinforce and upgrade its infrastructure, aiming to prevent similar incidents in the future and ensure a more reliable service experience.
In March 2025, FLOW disconnected several customers who had paid their bills via Mo Banking. To this day no public apology has been made. Much less for compensation.
This is a crying SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
