UPDATE (with photo): Fond St. Jean man charged with murder in spear gun shooting

37-year-old Wang Baron is now on remand at the Stock Farm Prison after he was charged with murder.

Two days after he used a spear gun (fishing gun) to murder his uncle, Wang Baron appeared before a Roseau magistrate where the charge was read to him.

The charge is that on May 10th 2020 in Fond St. Jean he murdered Symbert Baron.

He was not required to plead.

Baron is represented by lawyer Joshua Francis.

The matter was adjourned to September 14th, 2020.

    What this guy did was barbaric. I am not an advocate of capital punishment but this murderer has forfeited his life. By law, every defendant deserves a defence counsel. This guy deserves none.

      Barbaric it is,but his defense council is going plead self defense,which is unfortunately Joshua frances,sometimes i wonder about frances and dyer,their involvement in these cases,anyway self defense is the only argument Joshua seem to have here,but boy dominica is a crazy mess
