Fort Young Hotel Art Gallery is set to present a new art exhibition titled “Catharsis – The Blues,” created by Dominican artist Pauline Marcelle.

A media release shared that this exhibit is hosted at the Old Oven Art Gallery and will be available for public viewing from February 5 through April 30, 2026.

“Catharsis – The Blues” delves into the color blue as both an emotional and elemental symbol—representing mourning, renewal, and emotional release, explained the team. Throughout the collection, blue is utilized as a visual and emotional motif, allowing the artist to reinterpret the connections between human experience, memory, and a planet wounded by environmental degradation.

“The works invite viewers into a contemplative space where grief, resilience, and healing coexist,” as per the release.

The exhibition at Fort Young Hotel’s Old Oven Art Gallery is open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, welcoming visitors to engage with the compelling visuals and themes presented.

In addition to this exhibition, visitors are encouraged to explore “Salt and Soul” at Bwa Denn, Secret Bay. A solo show by Marica Honychurch that reportedly pays homage to the pride of local communities, their traditions, and the enduring spirit of the island’s culture that continues to influence and inspire.

The “Salt and Soul” exhibition will be on display from February 9 to May 5, 2026.

Open daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, organizers add that both exhibitions highlight the vibrant cultural expressions of the region, offering immersive experiences rooted in place, memory, and emotion.
