Marketing Officer at H.H.V Whitchurch & Co. Ltd, Desma Patrick, has reassured passengers of FRS Express Des Iles that the service is fully up and running once again.
“While we have experienced some challenges earlier, we are pleased to reassure everyone that the service is fully up and running once again,” she said at Tuesday’s weekly World Creole Music Festival (WCMF) press conference.
“In fact, FRS Express has already resumed multiple sailings between Dominica and our neighbouring islands, Guadeloupe, Martinique, and St Lucia, bringing visitors, returning nationals, and festival lovers safely to our shores just in time for the grand celebration.”
As the World Creole Music Festival celebrates its 25th year, Patrick said that H.H.V Whitchurch is honoured to once again stand proudly with Dominicans to celebrate the country’s music, culture, and spirit.
“As the countdown continues and the excitement is in the air, we say, let’s come together and celebrate our Creole, let’s celebrate Dominica, and let’s make the 25th anniversary one for the history books,” Patrick emphasized.
Meanwhile, in its latest report, FRS Express Des Iles announced that due to the cancellations between October 18 and 21, the ferry has arranged charter flights from St Lucia to Dominica for affected passengers.
