Gachette Jewellers expresses condolences on death of long-time employee

Well-known local goldsmith, Russel Lucien, suddenly passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

He was an employee of Gachette Jewellers in Dominica.

According to a statement from Gachette Jewellers, his dedication, craftsmanship, loyalty, and warmth touched countless lives over his 35 years with the company.

“More than a master goldsmith, Russel was family to us and will forever be remembered for his kindness, generosity, joyful spirit and commitment to excellence,” the statement said. “We thank everyone for their prayers and support during this difficult time.”
